The Battle of Treponti took place in these fields between Castenedolo and Rezzato, just outside the city of Brescia, on 15th June 1859. Giuseppe Garibaldi, leading the Cacciatori (a brigade of about 3500 soldiers), after a seven hour battle, forced the Austrian soldiers to retreat. An original and eco-friendly way to remember this important page of Italian History and at the same time taste the good wines produced in these vineyards. Family Corani will be proud to let you taste the rich Treponti red wine, as well as other wines produced in the family Farmhouse member of the Wine Road Longobard Hills.

Program:
meeting with the tour leader at the Azienda Agricola Corani in Castenedolo, pick up of the bicycles and ride along the vineyards and through the center of Castenedolo in a nature and panoramic itinerary in the lands of the Battle of Treponti.
