Capriano del Colle DOC Red Wine | the DOC red wine Capriano del Colle is produced with grapes from Marzemino (locally called vinoBerzemino) minimum 40%; Merlot minimum 20%, Sangiovese minimum 10%. The peculiar trait of this kind of grapes is that they have been grown up and ripened on clayey soil in vineyards with a very good sun exposure. The color is intense red. The perfume is ethereal, ample, slightly winy and characteristic. The taste is dry, full and velvety. The minimum total alcohol content is 12%. It should be served at a temperature between 18 and 20 degrees and is particularly apt to be accompanied by red meat dishes, cold and boiled salami and high quality cheeses.

The category “Riserva” indicates that this wine is aged at least two years. It is an intense, full, smooth and harmonic wine. The alcohol content is 12%. It is particularly apt to be served with elaborated meat dishes and with intensely savory cheeses.
